Here's a jam I recorded on the Ableton Push 2 with the standard Ableton Live Core 808 Drum Kit and Audio Effects.
Every year on August 8th (8-08 in many calendars) "the global music community will come together to honor the iconic Roland TR-808 drum machine, an instrument that's inspired countless artists and changed the face of contemporary music. I don't own a TR-808; this vintage analog synthesizer is out of my reach for the moment. But thanks to the wonders of digital audio workstations and samplers, I celebrate this day with a digital software version that this standard issue in Ableton Live and use the Ableton Push to tweak parameters (and audio effects) which make live 808 playing so much fun.
